The Jensen Blackbird 40 is our speaker of choice for the California Tweed Series as its voice offers a powerful, controlled bass range and all the sparkly brilliance that is typical of the classic Jensen Speakers. It' is equally suited to clean, quasi-acoustic tones, crunchy overdrive, and up to powerfully distorted lead tones. The Blackbird 40 offers a very distinct yet versatile character. It suits a wide range of applications, form the traditional, warm, jazz, country, rock and blues tones, up to the fiercer brit-style power-chords and lead lines. The Blackbird 40 is the first speaker in the Jet Series featuring Jensen's exclusive Reinforced AlNiCo magnet technology.
